Planning Commission

The West Earl Township Planning Commission is a five-member board appointed by the Board of Supervisors with each member serving a four-year term. It is an advisory board to the Board of Supervisors and is the first township body involved in the review of all subdivision and land development proposals. The Planning Commission provided the Board with recommendations on proposed ordinance amendments, waivers of development plan requirements and comprehensive planning issues. It also reviews applications pending before the zoning hearing board and can provide testimony to the Board in any or all cases before the zoning hearing board. The Planning Commission meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the West Earl Township Municipal Office.
